We rate our suppliers on the basis of our own environmental guidelines and require partners operating on our sites to meet our standards. We cooperate with contract waste disposal firms from the moment waste is generated until its final disposal.

Our environmental management and incident prevention system enables us to ensure that our environmental guidelines are met and that legal and administrative requirements, under special consideration of the ordinance on hazardous incidents, are fulfilled. We regularly check the system and set out environmental objectives, thereby constantly aiming to improve environmental protection.

The effectiveness of our environmental management system is proven by regular independent inspections, which are documented in our certification according to ISO 14001.
